Films which can be viewed by the four quadrants audience (eg everybody; children, young adults, parents, males and females) seem to be amongst the successful films with the biggest profits and are often family orientated such as Shrek, Toy Story, Harry Potter.
However, young people aged between 15-24 are most likely to spend their free time going to the cinema, so there should be a few movies which are available for these age ranges to see, as they are most likely to spend their money going to watch movies(page 5 Fig 15.1)
There is evidence to show that the audiences are an equal mix of female and males, so there should be films for both sexes to be able to view. (page 3 15.1 & 15.2)
Ethnicity doesn't seem to be relevant to watching movies as the minority ethnic groups in the table go to the cinema mostly regular or very regular (page 9 fig 15.2)
